- the licensing of Third Party Administrators (TPAs);
- the licensing of Multiple Employer Welfare Arrangements(MEWA);
- licensure and license modifications of Health Maintenance Organizations(HMO);
- licensing of Viatical Settlement Providers;
- review and approval of Preferred Provider Organization(PPO) benefit plan carrier operations filings;
- regulation of non-financial operations of HMOs, PPOs, and MEWAs;
- review and approval of provider contract forms and management contract forms;
- review of Medicare Select plans and operations filings
- notification processes related to Charitable Gift Annuities
- review and approval of Assumption Reinsurance transactions and related forms involving life or health insurance, or annuity business
